This division consists of several construction teams that are primarily responsible for the new construction, maintenance and repair of the City's water distribution system - an intricate system of water mains and hydrants and approximately 550 miles of underground water pipes. Here, most fire flow improvement, renewal and replacement projects are performed. The Division also installs and constructs the City's wastewater grinder pumping stations and wastewater force mains and operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, to ensure timely response to any emergency that may develop within the system.
