The City of North Miami Beach Public Services Department hosts free Water Education Workshops for the community. A major aspect of public outreach, education initiatives and neighborhood relations, the Water Education Workshops target condo and homeowner associations, civic groups and faith-based organizations. The objective of the workshops is to increase the community's awareness about the utility, its services and programs. Knowledgeable Public Services' staff members make presentations about water issues, fostering understanding of the many challenges and environmental issues that endanger our water supply and providing pertinent and updated information related to the Public Services Department. They also answer questions about water conservation, water quality and other water related topics.
Free Water Education Workshops can be scheduled at your organization's convenience. Suggestions for workshop topics are also welcome. For additional information, or to schedule a Water Education Workshop for your organization, please call (305) 919-3759.
