Helping North Miami Beach's water customers use water more efficiently is just one of the goals of the Water Conservation Division. As the first municipal water conservation program in South Florida, the Water Conservation Division develops and implements educational, operational, financial and regulatory initiatives that promote the most efficient use of the city's natural water resources. Reducing water waste and increasing the efficient use of water helps to create sustainable water supplies and optimizes North Miami Beach’s water utility infrastructure. When water is used efficiently, it not only saves water, it saves money. North Miami Beach’s Water Conservation Division has many programs that can help its customers use water wisely. Free water educational programs are available for civic groups, schools and resident associations. Water saving devices are also available through our Showerhead Exchange Program.
