The Streets Division is responsible for the safe movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic throughout the City. Many of the main travel corridors through North Miami Beach are Florida Department of Transportation or Miami-Dade
County Roads. The division works closely with both agencies to make sure all roads and streets are clear and all regulatory signs and signals are in proper working order. Once notified of any irregularity, the Division will coordinate with State and County agencies a to rectify the problem. To contact the Streets Division call (305) 948-2936.

TRAFFIC LIGHTS
To report problems with traffic lights, please call Miami-Dade County at 3-1-1.

STREET LIGHT OUT
To report a street light that is out or not working correctly, please call Florida Power and Light at 1-800-4-OUTAGE (1-800-468-8243) and provide them with the address of the light pole.

If possible, please give them the 11-digit pole number. This number usually starts with an "8" and is stamped on a silver plate that is attached horizontally to the pole, or it may be a vertically attached black decal with yellow numbers. You can also report this problem directly through the FPL website.
